This was another opportunity for Warren Primary pupils to be empowered with knowledge about allergies. Through class discussions, demonstrations (using a dummy training epi pen) and activities, pupils showed empathy and understanding for those who have allergies. In a whole school assembly, Nurse Shirley Nkansa Manu raised awareness of common allergens, symptoms of allergic reactions and emergency procedures, helping pupils to know what to do if they encounter a possible allergic reaction. This collective knowledge should help to keep people in our school community as safe as possible at Warren.
